Whiskey components were blended and aged in toasted barrels from independent stave company and speyside cooperage for three months. Followed up by one month in honey barrels from fern valley farms in Arkansas to create a bold yet balanced whiskey with a sweet honey finish

Nose

Oak Lactones, spice box, honey cake, cedar, slight floral notes.

Palate

Balanced vicosity indicates the wood sugar and honey. Not very hot considering the proof. Medium-plus bodied with robust, toasted characters on the midplate, Interactions between the tannins and the sweetness. Opens slowly with layer upon layer of charred and toasted oak.
